ROM 8:16-23

What is next in connection with the glory that is to be revealed to us is…

CREATION!

GEN 1:1-31

God saw all
that He had made, and behold, it was very good.

ROM 8:19-22

Here in Romans 8 , after the fall of man, we have creation subjected to futility.

It means that creation must be born again!
Just like we had to be!!

The corruption refers to death. Dying. All of creation now is in slavery to decay and death.

If you really want to understand futility, read book of Ecclesiastes.

ECC 2:12-17

Futility is the condition of being unable to achieve what will satisfy.

Futility is always coming up short of what you were created to be.

ματαιότης
