Joh 10:40-42 He left the place of stubborn unbelief and came to a place of informed belief. Joh 1:11-13 It was a place called Bethany beyond the Jordan.
It must have been a bittersweet time for Jesus. This place held fond memories for Him. Joh 10:40-42 There was time to rest, and time to take stock. Joh 1:23, 28-29 Joh 10:40-42 In every generation, the Lord has His little flock of people who believe in Him. Mic 2:12-13 They saw Him up close and personal, and listened to His words. Joh 10:41 They knew what John had said about Jesus. John was well-loved and revered as a prophet by many in Israel. Luk 20:4-8 John’s testimony about Jesus was 100% on target. Jon 10:41 John said that Jesus was the LORD from Isaiah 40. Joh 1:23 John said that he was not even worthy to loosen the straps of His sandals. Joh 1:27 He declared that Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Joh 1:29-34 And He testified that Jesus is the Son of God. He said that Jesus was the Messiah – the Christ. Joh 3:28 He said that Jesus came from heaven and is above all creation. Joh 3:31 And he said that the Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. Joh 3:34-35 He said the Son has the authority to give eternal life to whoever believes in Him. Joh 3:36
