EPH 4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,

EPH 4:2-3   with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Biblical Unity is based upon Who and What God is and What He has provided for every believer in the Body of Christ.

EPH 4:1  I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,

EPH 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

EPH 1:4  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love

EPH 1:5 where He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,

EPH 1:7 concerning your redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of your sins

EPH 1:9, in relationship to the mystery doctrine where He made known to us the mystery of His will

EPH 1:11 that we have obtained an inheritance,

EPH 1:13, that you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

EPH 1:18, In light of the fact that he prayed that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

EPH 1:19  and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.

EPH 1:23, in light of the fact that His body, is the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

EPH 2:6, therefore, because God raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus,

EPH 2:10  we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for the purpose of performing good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

EPH 2:16 and that He might reconcile us both [Jews and Gentiles] in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.

EPH 3:1 Paul, was the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles--

EPH 3:3 that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief.

EPH 3:9-10, because we are to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things;

EPH 3:10 in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

Walk not only on the road God called you to travel, but walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,

The key here is not where you are walking but the manner or the way you are to walk.

It's not the ends but the means that Paul is concerned with.

Paul does not want them to get so occupied with the calling or the goal of the calling that they overlook the means of how to attain the goal.
