Missions ministry: MAF

the mission of Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is sharing the love of Jesus Christ through aviation and technology…

…so that isolated people may be physically and spiritually transformed.

Their vision:
that every person on earth will experience the love of Christ and respond to the Gospel.

MAF flights support indigenous churches and local evangelists, create access to medical care, provide disaster relief, ...

…and make community development projects possible ... in some of the most remote places on earth.

John 3:16-30

He must increase, but I must decrease

Verses 16-21 describe God’s love in sending His Son to save the world…

and the different destinies for those who believe in the Son of God and those who do not.

Verses 22-30 narrate the last testimony of John the Baptist.

First, the whole world needs to be saved.

Second, at any point in time, the human race is divided into two categories:

Those who believe in the Son of God, and those who do not believe in Him.

Third, these two kinds of people face diametrically opposite destinies.

Fourth, verses 19-20 further explain the judgment in verse 18.

Verses 19-20 teach us things about the judgment of those who have not believed.

Verses 19-20 also teach about the nature of those who have not believed.

All men are this kind of humanity when they are born.

There is none righteous, not even one. They are children of wrath.

Joh 8:43-45

Verse 21 describes those who have believed.

They have been born again from above. They have become children of God.

Joh 1:9-13

Joh 3:19-21

No unbeliever can come to the Light.

This is NOT salvation by works.

God does NOT decide who remains in the darkness and who comes to the Light.

Joh 1:4-5

The darkness is the abode of the unbelievers. They love being in the darkness.

The unbeliever does the deeds of his father, the devil. As such, his deeds are evil.

1Jo 3:10

Christ is the Light of the world. He came to show every man his need to be saved.

Joh 3:21

A believer in Christ practices the truth.
