The Holy Spirit of the New Testament is the same Spirit of God in the Old Testament. “He is either God, possessing, in distinction of Person, an ineffable unity of the Divine nature with the Father and the Son.... ...or He is the creature of God, infinitely removed from Him in essence and dignity. Nothing intermediate between the Creator and created can be admissible. The Doctrine of Efficacious Grace The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is one of the six permanent ministries of God the Holy Spirit at salvation.
