What is discernment?

Discernment is being able to determine what is coming from the thinking of Christ and what is coming from doctrines of demons, 1Ti 4:1.

The all-important fruit of satan’s pride is the fact that “he does not stand or abide in the truth”.

When a person is energized by evil and lies, there is a powerful force at work to conceal and hide the real wicked motivation at work.

The source of things, the seed, is a kind of wisdom, a kind of doctrine.

There is
the Mind of Christ, and there are doctrines of demons.

Now when it comes to the thoughts in our own soul, you can, as we have seen, have a detection system.

We have no such direct detection system available to us, however, built into other people’s souls.

We can have the power to discern the thoughts in our own soul, but we do not get the ability to directly discern thoughts in other people’s souls.

The Bible says that, ultimately, only God can discern a person’s heart. Pro 21:2;
