Spiritual Gifts Part 190: Believers in Christ have the ultimate WHY for human existence.

What is discernment?

Mat 7:16
“You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?”

Joh 15:2
“Every branch [believer] in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away [discipline]; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it [suffering for blessing] so that it may bear more fruit.”

Suffering is part of the plan of God for our life.

Viktor Frankl was an Austrian Jewish psychiatrist who survived the Nazi concentration camps.
He was freed by American soldiers in April 1945.

In 1946, he published his chronicle of his experiences in that concentration camp.

The book was titled
“Man’s Search for Meaning”.

The work involved getting them to understand that life was still expecting something from them.

“He knows the WHY for his existence, and will be able to bear almost any HOW.”

2Pe 3:18
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

That which is done “under the sun” refers to life lived as if there were no God, without consideration for God or God’s plan.

Ecc 12:12
But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.

Believers in Christ have the ultimate WHY for human existence, because our meaning and our purpose have eternal significance.

2Pe 3:18
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

If we respond positively to our Father’s dealings with us, we become more single minded in our devotion to Him and His Son.
