Spiritual Gifts Part 225: Coming down into the kitchen (where the heat is!)

All the action now is in the phrase “I live by faith in the Son of God”. This is how we run our race.

From the time that Adam fell, God went to work, and His strategy was to do away with the first Adam and replace him with the Last Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The new life that we receive at the moment of our rebirth is a life that has Christ as its center.

Our daily victory is a moment by moment thing. The antidote to the poison of old man thinking is our daily dose of the word of God.

Faith means turning to Christ and saying, “I turn this completely over to You”.

“faith” = πίστις
pistis 
synonymous with trust or belief.
 It is trust, dependence, reliance.

It literally means
“in the sphere of faith or in
the atmosphere of faith”.

Heb 11:1
Now faith is the title deed of things hoped for, the proof of things which are not being seen.

The atmosphere of our spiritual life is faith.
