The Activity of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Church Age believers, part 42.

1. In the Church Age each and every believer will receive the outpouring, the gift, the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Without measure.

2. He does not measure out a little of the Spirit here, a little there. He POURS OUT the Spirit in rivers of living water. Unlimited potential for whomever receives the Spirit.

What are some of the blessings that flow from the Spirit as rivers of living water?

All truth is available now, John 16:13.

Love, the same love that God has for His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, Rom 5:5.

Not only is love poured out, but so too is joy.

Rom 14:17
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

The entire nine-fold fruit of the Spirit flows from God giving the Spirit without measure, Gal 5:22-23.

Gal 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control;

Life, God’s life – eternal life, Joh 6:63; Rom 8:2; 2Co 3:6; Gal 6:8.

Joh 6:63
“ It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.”

Power, Rom 15:13, Eph 3:16

Provision for our deliverance from evil, Phi 1:19

Glory, 1Pe 4:14.

There is also the river of prayer,
Eph 6:18

All of these rivers ultimately flow into one amazing, limitless body of water, and that is Christ!

The SOURCE of all of these rivers is Christ. He sent the Holy Spirit.

The DESTINATION is ALSO Christ!
The Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ.

One way to get a sense of this is to study the subject of fullness in the epistle to the Ephesians. Eph 1:7-10, 1:19-23, 3:14-19, 4:7-13, 5:17-21.

When we look at the big picture of Ephesians, that with which all is being filled, and the fullness, is CHRIST!!!
