We have such a great High Priest!!! Part 4.

pastor@lbible.org

The message, outline and argument of the book of Hebrews.

We have such a great High Priest in God’s Son!

He is the perfect sacrifice for all our sins.

He intercedes for us day and night at God’s right hand.

He provides us complete access to God.

Jesus can sympathize with us and supply the help we need in the time of trial.

We have a great high priest, Jesus the Son of God, who can sympathize with our weaknesses since He has been tempted in all things as we are.

Draw near to Him! You will always receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Mercy – because there is something in your past that haunts you.

Grace – because there may be something today or tomorrow that you can’t face without His help.

There is not an infirmity, a need, a weakness, a temptation, a sorrow, an ache, an anxiety, but it draws out sympathy and help from Christ.

Perhaps you are burdened and discouraged by the difficulty of doing God’s will.

Perhaps you are being mocked , abused, insulted by people, even though you have operated in integrity.

Maybe you are dealing with the grief and sadness of losing a loved one to death.

Perhaps you even are dealing with some guilt about something you think you should have done for your loved one.

Jesus learned things from going through His own grief and sorrow that make Him such a merciful High Priest now for you when you are hurting.

Perhaps you are dealing with your own impending death, worried about the loved ones you’ll be leaving behind.

Perhaps you are struggling with loneliness these days.

You might be at the point where you even feel forsaken by God.

Some among us are going through some situation where they are made to feel insignificant, degraded, stripped of their dignity.

Perhaps you are in deep trouble today, and you think that there is no one around to help you.
