Jesus told us His Father loves us. What more do we need?

Joh 17:25-26 is the climax of Jesus’ prayer for the church.

The source and spring of the entire Christian life is the love of God, the grace of God, the mercy of God.

What is the climax of the teaching to the church in Romans?

The classic practical tactical text on the Christian spiritual life is found in Ephesians 4-6.

But all that is built on, takes its life from, flows completely out of what is presented in chapters 1- 3.

The summing up of chapters 1-3 is found in the prayer ending chapter 3. What is shown here?

The church at Ephesus in Rev 2 was performing all the tactical matters of Ephesians 4-6.

But they left the first and most important thing. What was that?

They left their first love, the love of chapters 1-3 of the book of Ephesians.

The first and most important love is not our love for others.
It is not even our love for God.

The first and most important love is God’s love for us!!

The love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

All facts about you because you are in union with the King of Kings, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
