Chosen People Ministries exists to pray for, evangelize, disciple, and serve Jewish people everywhere and to help fellow believers do the same.

Today, Chosen People Ministries serves in sixteen countries across the globe. Our outreach programs include evangelism and discipleship,

Messianic Centers and congregations, equipping the local church for Jewish evangelism, print and web publications, and benevolence work.

With your help, we will continue proclaiming the Good News through Jesus the Messiah to Jewish people around the world.

Sometimes, God gives us more than we can handle (alone).

The power of the resurrection life of Christ is the greatest power in the universe!

The Spirit is the administrator of this life for you, -

as your helper, guide, your deliverer, as your prayer warrior, as your reviver.

We know we have passed out of death into life because WE LOVE THE BRETHREN!

Rom 12:1-8

This is a life of giving and receiving.

Rom 12:9-16

Jesus gave his body as a sacrifice unto death (Rom 3-8) so that we can present our bodies a LIVING sacrifice (Rom 12-15).

Make the connection between what it means to be in Christ and how we are called to live.

The very structure of the New Testament epistles tells us that. Teaching first, then exhortation.

We are so quick to judge and condemn a person when they do something that we think is wrong.

We should always try to think the best of other people -especially when they just did something that we don’t like!

Apply Phi 4:8 to other people in your life – particularly the ones you are not too pleased with right now!

Phi 4:8
Phi 2:3-5

The heart of the matter is a matter of the heart.

The rival teachers who were preaching Christ out of envy and strife (Phi 1:12-18)

The Philippian church who for a time had neglected Paul (Phi 2:25-30)

The two ladies who were causing a division in the church – Euodia and Syntyche (Phi 4:2-3)

Gal 5:13-14
Gal 6:2

A fine young man texted me this week with an urgent question.

“God cannot give you more than you can handle.”

It’s not true. It’s another one of those Christian myths.

1Co 10:13

Can you see that this passage is dealing with temptation?

1Co 10:6-13

Our lives, our life struggles, consist of more than just temptation.

The burdens of our lives include temptation, but they ALSO include many other things.

Sorrow, loss, persecution, sickness,
tribulation, distress, famine, nakedness, peril, sword

hardships, sleeplessness, poverty, betrayal, false accusations, rejection, weakness, the thorn in the flesh

difficulties…dangers, worries and concerns about those we love…

And at times these things DO get the better of us.

They are MORE than WE can handle.

They were more than Paul could handle…

2Co 1:8-11
