The truth is the lifeblood for the new life we live Part 2

THE DOCTRINE OF REPENTANCE

The first type of repentance is a synonym for faith in connection with salvation. A change in mental attitude about the person and work of Christ equals repentance in connection with salvation.

The second type of repentance is rebound, changing our thinking to agree with God’s verdict concerning our sins. We embrace the experiential forgiveness God freely provides.

Point 7. The third type of repentance in the Church age believer’s life is the turning away from human viewpoint (lies, evil) and turning toward divine viewpoint (grace and truth), resulting in living a new life of fellowship with the Trinity.

What do you think of the truth?

“The way" refers to the entrance into the plan of God.
"The truth" refers to what we learn after we enter into the plan of God.
"The life" is the function that comes from truth or doctrine.

8. Truth is that which God desires in our life,
PSA 51:6 Behold, Thou dost desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part Thou wilt make me know wisdom.

Our Lord Himself identifies Himself as the truth, JOH 14:6.

We are transformed by the truth, ROM 12:1-2; 2CO 3:18.

The Holy Spirit uses the truth to manufacture the very virtues of Christ in our lives.

The truth is the lifeblood for the new life we live, the life of fellowship with God in Christ Jesus.

The truth is the what the Holy Spirit uses to form the spiritual connective tissue between members of the Royal Family. It is what allows us to hold fast to the Head, the Lord Jesus Christ.

EPH 4:15
but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ,

COL 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself,

2CO 11:10

....the truth of Christ is in me,

9. In His love, God always reveals grace and mercy with His truth, 2PE 3:18.

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

PSA 85:10
Lovingkindness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

PSA 85:11
Truth springs from the earth; And righteousness looks down from heaven.

God’s righteousness looks on approvingly when He sees His truth in operation in man.

PSA 40:10
......I have not concealed Thy lovingkindness and Thy truth.

....Thy lovingkindness and Thy truth will continually preserve me.

JOH 1:14
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

10. It is also truth which cleanses us and purges us from sin,

11. Without truth it is impossible to worship God properly.

2TI 2:15
Study to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.

12. Truth always prevails and is a direct enemy of the kingdom of darkness.

The Truth leads to the Christian lifestyle.

This is why TLJC said in JOH 14:6 "I am the way [entrance], and the truth [doctrine], and the life;

We have two Greek words found in the New Testament:

1. zoe, from which we get zoology
2. bios, from which we get biology.

Zoe refers to the super-grace life which is the objective of all doctrine.

The zoe life is God’s fantastic grace provision which is far beyond your desires and even even your most fervent prayers.

The "zoe" life is God’s fantastic grace provisions which are far beyond anything that you have ever asked God for or others for.

JOH 10:10
"The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have [zoe] life, and might have {it} abundantly.
