Show yourself an example for those who believe

1TI 4:11-16

We all need
role models.

How is it supposed to be done?

The pursuit of godliness.

Teaching and behavior that reflect God’s character.

It is the time devoted to taking pains with God’s word.

It is the witness of hundreds of things done in love for the Lord and His people.

It is, as we sometimes say,
“the whole package”.

2TI 4:1-5

The best comfort always comes from the word of God.

We need to hear, over and over again, who we really are.

We need to hear
how we are to live
in keeping with who we are.

Exhortation and teaching go hand in hand.
