Our prayer for you comes from Ephesians 1.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. (EPH 1:8-19)
- You are a child of God. You have a perfect, strong, loving, good Father who loves you like crazy.
- See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. (1JO 3:1)
- You have a mighty God who is for you, not against you.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? (ROM 8:31-32)
- You have been given the most precious and magnificent promises by God by His own glory and excellence!
- For by these - God’s glory and excellence - He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, (2PE 1:4)
- You have access to the throne of God, where you can receive mercy and find grace.
- Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (HEB 4:16)
- You have been raised with Christ and are seated with Him in the heavenly places.
- and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (EPH 2:6)
- You are a member of God’s household. You are part of God’s family.
- you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, (EPH 2:19)
- You have been graced out with every spiritual blessing imaginable.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, (EPH 1:3)
- You have everything you need.
- seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, (2PE 1:3)
- You have freedom.
- It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. (GAL 5:1)
- You will never be condemned by God.
- Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (ROM 8:1)
- You are in Christ!
- But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, just as it is written, "LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD." (1CO 1:30-31)
- You are a member of the body of Christ.
- For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. (1CO 12:13)
- You are a new creation.
- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2CO 5:17)
- You have been forgiven of all your sins.
- For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (COL 1:13-14)
- Your sins will never be remembered by God.
- FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR INIQUITIES,
AND I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO MORE." (HEB 8:12)
- You have been perfected for all time by the offering of Christ.
- For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. (HEB 10:14)
- You have become the righteousness of God in Christ.
- He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2CO 5:21)
- You are God’s masterpiece.
- For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (EPH 2:10)
- You have been set free from the governing power of sin and death.
- For the governing power of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the governing power of sin and of death. (ROM 8:2)
- You have been made alive with Christ. You have eternal life.
- But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ ( by grace you have been saved), (EPH 2:4-5)
- You have the Spirit of God’s Son in your hearts.
- Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, " Abba! Father!" (GAL 4:6)
- You have an amazing destiny and future.
- so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (EPH 2:7)
- You are a citizen of heaven itself.
- For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; (PHI 3:20)
- You are a great conqueror through Christ.
- But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. (ROM 8:37)
- You have been redeemed !!
- In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace (EPH 1:7)
- You have an amazing inheritance waiting for you in heaven.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, (1PE 1:3-4)
- You have God the Holy Spirit inside you and He will never leave you.
- "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. (JOH 14:16-17)
- You have Christ in you, and that is the surest hope of the glory that awaits you.
- to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (COL 1:27)
- Because you have the Spirit inside, you can pray at all times.
- With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, (EPH 6:18)
- You have the Holy Spirit praying for you right now.
- In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; (ROM 8:26)
- You have the Lord Jesus Christ interceding for you.
- who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. (ROM 8:34)
- You will never be without the unstoppable love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
- 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (ROM 8:38-39)
- We serve in the newness of the Spirit not the oldness of the letter.
- But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter. (ROM 7:6)
- You are a work in progress and you WILL be completed.
- For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. (PHI 1:6)
- God will perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
- After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. (1PE 5:10)
- You will be conformed to the image of God’s Son Jesus Christ!
- For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; (ROM 8:29)
- God the Holy Spirit has poured the love of God into your heart.
- and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (ROM 5:5)
- God is causing all things to work together for good in your life.
- And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (ROM 8:28)
- You are not alone.
- for He Himself has said, " I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU," (HEB 13:5)
- You have God’s angels sent to serve you.
- Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation? (HEB 1:14)
- You are protected by the power of God.
- who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1PE 1:5)
- Jesus Christ’s full time job as High Priest these days is to watch over you and intercede for you.
- Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (HEB 7:25)
- You are an overcomer. You have overcome the world because you are in Christ.
- Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1JO 5:5)
- We have obtained victory over sin and death through Christ.
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1CO 15:56-57)
- You cannot be snatched from the Father’s hand.
- 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 " My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. (JOH 10:28-29)
- You stand in the grace of the Lord and have the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. (2CO 13:14)
- You reign in life because of the abundance of God’s grace.
- For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. (ROM 5:17)
- We are the fullness of Christ in this world!
- And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (EPH 1:22-23)
- You are Jesus’ joy.
- fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (HEB 12:2)
- You are God’s beloved.
- Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; (EPH 5:1)
