“The Holy Spirit will teach you all things.”

JOH 14:25-26

The Holy Spirit would teach the apostles all things,

and bring to their remembrance all that Jesus said to them.

His disciples had trouble understanding many things that Jesus said.

JOH 2:18-22

The Holy Spirit brought these things to their remembrance.

The Old Testament predicted that the Christ would die and be raised from the dead.

PSA 16:7-11

David here is a type of his greater Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

It turns out that both Peter and Paul used Psalm 16 to preach the resurrection of Jesus.

ACT 2:22-36

The Holy Spirit revealed this to Peter, and inspired him to say these words.

JOH 12:12-16

These things were written about Jesus in the Old Testament.

But the disciples did not have eyes to see this until the Spirit indwelt them.

JOH 14:25-26

Jesus said this to His closest disciples - including Matthew, John, and Peter.

These three would go on to write portions of the New Testament.

The Holy Spirit illuminates our minds, hearts and spirits to understand what these men wrote in the Bible.

1CO 2:10-16

The Spirit revealed these truths to the writers of scripture: verses 10-12.

The Spirit inspired these writers to write the words in Greek: verse 13.
