Class Outline:
Resurrection is ultimate victory and ultimate hope.
Psalm 22 is an account of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ as experienced by Jesus.
His hope rests in the knowledge that His Father will raise Him from the dead.
Resurrection is God’s greatest victory.
Resurrection, quite simply, is new life defeating death once and for all.
The old man of ours was crucified on the cross.
Resurrection is a brand new life. It is higher quality of life.
Resurrection life did not exist until the LORD Jesus Christ came out of the tomb.
Because we are justified, Christ was raised from the dead.
The resurrection of Christ is God’s
first-fruits.
The resurrection
of the saints
is the rest
of the harvest.
The new things will be new forever.
2CO 5:17 (KJV)
We were dead -dead in our trespasses and sins.
But He - God the Father - made us alive together with Christ.
We have died, and we have been raised up with Christ.
And now, we are being conformed to the image and likeness of the Risen Christ.
God brought about so much more from the resurrection of Christ
than He did from the creation of man.
As believers in Christ, we have received eternal life, a new quality of life.
It is a life with no end or beginning.
