Spiritual Gifts Part 119: The simplicity of devotion to Christ
The Doctrine of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
The Baptism of the Spirit: At the moment of salvation, the omnipotence of God the Holy Spirit places the Church Age believer into an eternal vital union with Christ,
thus identifying the believer with Christ and making them a permanent member of the Body of Christ- the Royal Family of God, a new spiritual species, and eternally secure.

Point 5: The Characteristics of the Baptism of the Spirit.
1. It is not an experience.
2. It is not progressive.
3. It is not related to sin.
4. It is not related to any human merit, ability, or works.
Union with Christ is a permanent identification which distinguishes Christianity from religion.
In religion, man by man’s efforts seeks to gain the approval of God, a satanic function.
In Christianity, the believer through union with Christ has a permanent grace relationship with God.
5. It is obtained in full at the moment of salvation through faith alone in Christ alone.
6. It is eternal and unchangeable in nature.
7. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is known and understood only through learning the relevant mystery doctrine of the Church Age.
8. The baptism of the Spirit is not a matter of the believer’s volition.
9. It is a vital, organic, spiritual union.
The believer is in the resurrected Christ (baptism of the Spirit) and the resurrected Christ is in the believer (indwelling of Christ as the Shekinah Glory), .
“In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”
“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
God has produced a New Creation consisting of the Resurrected Christ and the entire company of believers who are identified as the true Church which is vitally united to Christ.
To be in Christ is to have died in His death, to have been buried in His burial, to have been raised in His resurrection, to have ascended in His ascension, and to be seated now with Him in glory.
Christ supplies all that a soul will ever need in time or eternity.
For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
Therefore seeing that there is encouragement in Christ,
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me”.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus according to the commandment of God our Savior, and of Christ Jesus, who is our hope
For He Himself is our peace,
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
(1) We share His life which is eternal life, .
