Spiritual Gifts Part 211: “Apart from Me you can do nothing”.

The race is the advance in the Christian spiritual life in time.

The time frame for us to complete our race begins with faith in Christ and ends with our physical death or the Rapture.

The objective is described as resurrection life in time, supergrace, and spiritual maturity.

God the Holy Spirit’s objective: (Pastor Clark)

To produce the fruit of an obedient life in believers …

 which makes manifest the life of Christ in us so that we are an exact mirror image reflection of the humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ before our physical death.

GAL 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

PSA 55:22
Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

Christ behind us. Christ beside us. Christ inside us. Christ before us. Christ awaits us.

JOH 14:20
“In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me [union with Christ], and I in you [indwelling of TLJC].”

The fundamental change in Paul when He was called to teach mystery doctrine:
Christ in Him!
GAL 1:16; 2:20

The same is true of each and every believer - what a thing to discover! COL 1:27

Paul wanted to come to know the power of Christ’s resurrection and he realized that that same power was at work inside him, COL 1:29 !!!
