What is discernment?
Why do we need to have discernment?
7. Another reason that we need discernment is that we face decisions each and every day that require it.
Where does God want me to be? [Geographic]
What does God want me to think? [Mental]
What does God want me to do? [Operational]
How do I get spiritual discernment?
The filling of the Spirit and doctrine in the soul are critical to exercising correct discernment.
God does not keep His will a secret.
He has revealed it!
Yet people are always asking,
“What is God’s will for my life?”
All discernment is performed by the Holy Spirit, using the tools of Bible doctrine already tested and found in the soul, under the exercise of one’s priesthood.
HEB 5:14
But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
