Good news! Christ is our righteousness!
So righteousness is the gift, the declaration, the placement, a series of actions (manner of daily living), and the result.
In His death, Christ has dealt with all unrighteousness for us.
Where there was unrighteousness in Adam, there is now righteousness in the risen Christ.
It is the truth of the gospel -the GOOD NEWS!, the truth of righteousness by faith.
And now we are called to act accordingly, act as the sons and daughters and members of His body that we are.
We are being conformed to the image of God’s Son in glory. Everlasting GOOD NEWS!!
EVERY BIT of the material in the New Testament epistles is provided ultimately for that purpose.
We are now going to study the New Testament epistles from start to finish.
Romans is the book that maps out the GOOD NEWS from start to finish.
