(1) man as he was originally created by the Lord God;
(2) man as he became after the fall.
Every human being with a human father was born dead in trespasses and sins.
We now return to the unique humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
His was a unique birth, never to be repeated again.
A virgin was with child.
This child was conceived by the power of the Most High God.
For the first and only time, a human being was born without sin.
And for the first and only time, a child born of a woman was also - God.
For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
This was most evident in His remarkable relationship with His Father in Heaven.
Jesus, the God-man, came to undo the works of the devil.
The Son of God left the glories of heaven and became poor for our sake.
He died for the ungodly.
He died for us.
He bore our sins in His human body on the cross.
He was buried in a rich man’s tomb.
God the Father raised Jesus from the dead in a glorified human body.
Jesus is the first born from the dead.
One day, all who are His will have a glorified heavenly body like His.
