When grace overflows in your life.

The power of grace is MUCH GREATER than the power of sin.

Paul takes the opportunity in these two verses to give us an amazing summary of the whole Gospel.

ROM 5:20-21 is a compact summary of everything covered to this point in the letter.

Sin reigned

Romans 1:18-3:20

Romans 3:21-4:25

Romans 5

Romans 6, 7, and 8 are an extended commentary on verses 20 and 21 at the end of chapter 5.

Sin knocked off the throne is the subject of Romans 6.

The law coming in so the transgression would increase is explored in Romans 7.

The reign of grace is the subject of Romans 8.

You can take a great trip on the grace of God in Ephesians simply by finding the riches in the epistle.

EPH 1:3-8 EPH 1:18-19 EPH 2:4-7 EPH 3:8-10

The over flow of grace -

in what direction(s)??

for what purpose(s)???

to superabound (in quantity or quality), be in excess, be superfluous;

The verses with perisseuo tell us what the overflow of grace looks like.
